This position is responsible for cardiopulmonary exercise testing, and the coordination of practical aspects of clinical and translational research. It includes performing exercise tests, interacting with patients in person or over the phone on a regular basis, preparing and coordinating appointments and schedules, reviewing compliance with study, and administering research questionnaires, etc..

The responsibilities of this position also include:
-The coordination of the different components of the research team, including scheduling appointments, preparing and maintaining an updated research calendar;
-Maintaining a detailed record of research events for record-keeping and maintaining compliance with all local, state and federal compliance.





Required Qualifications
-Skilled in cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
-Experience as an exercise physiologist.
-Training in health-related disciplines.
-Experience in health care.
-Experience in clinical research.
-Bachelor of Science in Exercise physiology OR equivalent.
BLS and ACLS certification (within 1st 6-mos of hire) Preferred Qualifications
-Master of Science in exercise physiology
- ACSM Clinical exercise physiologist certification
-Experience in completing cardiopulmonary exercise testing with gas exchange and ECG interpretation
