About the Opportunity:
This role provides personalized career advising and services to undergraduate, graduate students and alumni throughout the Northeastern global network and is expected to embrace a self-directed and life-long learning mindset. Advises all stakeholders on general career design planning and law school and graduate school application processes. Delivers and interprets a variety of career assessments. Develops and delivers workshops and panels. Serves as liaison to a college and our partners on the Education Innovation team. Assists the department with large and small-scale events such as career fairs, networking nights, career studio coverage and other career initiatives. Builds relationships with law school and graduate school partners.

May also provide support and coordination for programs, resources, and services in the Northeastern University ecosystem that address the intersection of career and identity to support the professional development and career trajectory of marginalized learner populations (including students of color, first generation and low income, LGBTQA+, International, students with disabilities and other underrepresented intersections of identity) across all Northeastern campuses.

Master's degree in career development, higher education or demonstrably relevant field is required and relevant industry experience is preferred. One-three years of career advising experience. Demonstrated knowledge of current labor trends and local, regional and national job searching strategies.

Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated skill in presenting / teaching. Experience working with and affirming diverse cultures and backgrounds. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Excellent organizational, event and program management skills, including detail-oriented capacity for building efficient systems and operations. Strong technology skills including webinar delivery.

Capacity to work one evening per week.
