Research Analyst (FT)

Position: Mid-Plains Community College is accepting applications for a Research Analyst. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, compilation of data and preparation of reports for student academic outcomes, institutional information, effectiveness and planning; performing research and verification of data; administration of internal surveys and coordination of external surveys; serving as a resource to the college community regarding data, interpretation and usage. The position is a full-time area position located at North Platte Community College in North Platte, Nebraska.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and work experience is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of research methods and ability to communicate survey results and data validly and effectively. Must demonstrate proficiency in MS Office Suite software with strong Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Experience with relational database software is preferred. The chosen candidate will demonstrate positive and highly effective verbal, written, active listening and customer service skills. Experience in working with databases and creating professional reports is preferred, must be detail-oriented and have the ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work activities in a team environment to meet critical deadlines.
