Job Summary:

Marist College welcomes applications for the position of Adjunct Lecturer of Medical Technology. The Department of Medical Laboratory Science seeks candidates for multiple adjunct faculty positions in the Medical Technology program to teach clinical subject courses such as clinical chemistry, introduction to medical technology, and/or hematology in an accelerated degree program.

Minimum Qualifications:

National certification as a Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Technologist, a relevant Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of five years of full-time work experience in an accredited clinical laboratory are required.

Essential Functions:
  • Plans, organizes, and instructs assigned courses to promote student success according to Department planned curriculum.
  • Provides feedback and grades to students and administration in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications:

A Master’s degree in Medical lab science or related field is preferred.

Schedule is to be determined based on course schedules and time as required for teaching.

Hours per Week:

Lecture 3 hours/week, and 6 hours/week in Labs in the Summer and Fall semesters.

Location:

Marist College main campus, Poughkeepsie, NY and Marist College Marist in Manhattan program.
