About the Opportunity:
Support the Director in providing day to day financial, accounting, and budgeting services to over 500 accounts for student organizations and units within the Student Center.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Student Activities Business Office (SABO) customer service; provide financial, accounting, and budgeting services for Resident Student Association (RSA), National Resident Hall Honorary (NRHH), Resident Halls, Hall Council, and Student Government Association (SGA) Finance Board; monthly procard analysis and reconciliation for Resident Directors; audit RSA as deemed necessary; Chair of the Resident Activity Fee (RAF) Review Committee - annually updating the RAF Manual; conduct workshops for RSA and Resident Halls on RAF policies and procedures; financial and programming seminars for the office of residential life and services to help clarify RAF process: Monthly reconciliation of RSA and Resident Hall indexes; eRezlife Administrator; Co-Advisor to the SGA Finance Board; attend SGA Finance Board meetings and report outcome of the meetings; other projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and/or finance plus two to three years of financial/accounting experience. Working knowledge of general ledger and automated accounting applications using Banner, spreadsheets (i.e. EXCEL, Quick Books, and e-RezLife) and data processing (i.e. Word) required. Experience with audit processes would be a plus. Normal work hours are Monday - Thursday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Must have ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and produce professional reports. Self-motivated and enjoy a diversity of tasks and collaborative efforts. Excellent interpersonal, advisory and analytical skills. Attention to detail and accuracy of finished work is critical. Capacity to work in a high traffic and pressure environment. Ability to work with a large and diverse student/staff population.
