The Admissions and Information Specialist position is a full-time
career service position. The Admissions and Information Specialist
will perform highly responsible administrative duties requiring
detailed knowledge of College admissions policies, general
enrollment requirements, and detailed rules, regulations, and
requirements as established by law. Additionally, the Admissions
and Information Specialist will provide basic financial aid,
testing, and student resource information to prospective students.
The specialist shall review and process admissions applications and
take independent action to locate information and resolve problems.
The Admissions and Information Specialist must maintain an
effective working relationship with employees and the public. This
position requires availability to work flexible hours, including
some evenings and weekends during peak registration periods. This
position reports to the Director of Admissions.
Graduation from an accredited
institution with an associate’s degree; or graduation from high
school or GED equivalency and two years of experience in a
collegiate student services office setting required. College course
work may be substituted on a year for year basis for the required
experience. Exceptional customer service skills are required .

admissions experience. Work experience that documents keen
attention to detail, the ability to utilize various technologies,
and knowledge of college admissions policies including Family
Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
ANNUAL SALARY: $24,150.00 ($12.34/hour)
