Position Summary

The Program Coordinator, Frontliners works closely with faculty and students in the flexible classroom across Campuses. This position collaborates with various teams across the College, ensuring students achieve their course goals and objectives of the course by providing technology support in the flexible classrooms, ensuring proper inventory levels, and assisting with issues as they arise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Program Coordination

Coordinates and oversees support of eighteen (18) flexible classrooms at the College and RLCs. Ensures connectivity of the laptops to wi-fi.
Ensures all printers are connected to the network and available for printing in the classroom. Ensures the classroom as all supplies necessary for the semester Wipes down and cleans all equipment before each semester.

Maintains inventory of paper in each room. Maintains/adds computer equipment/accessories supplies to be accessible from the in-classroom cabinets, as needed.

Maintains records and documentation and prepares reports reflecting program progress, status, and related information.

Instructor Support

Coordinates with Central Scheduling to acquire the names of instructors teaching in each of the flexible classrooms.

Emails all instructors at the beginning of each semester the responsibilities of the flexible classroom.
Advises instructors on ensuring the laptops are put back in the laptop cart,, accessories are put back in the cabinet and locked up.

IT Support

Communicates with the network administrator/s any issues with connectivity with wi-fi or printer. Ensures that network administrator/s are aware if other classrooms are having the same issue or if the issue is localized.

Coordinates with the network administrator/s on successful resolutions. Maintains a spreadsheet of issues with laptops. Coordinates communication with the applicable vendors and other departments for repair or replacement.

Attends all required department meetings and training. Other duties as required. Regular, predictable, and punctual attendance is required.

Employee is occasionally exposed to minor cuts, burns, or other incapacitating injury and risk of electrical shock. Employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.

Knowledge of : analyzing networking issues; troubleshooting and drawing technical conclusions; virtual machines; job software programs; application of technical skills in area of specialization.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED. State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s). An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework and experience may qualify a candidate.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
