Assistant Director of Digital Marketing

The Assistant Director of Digital Marketing is responsible for creation, execution, management and optimization of marketing strategies and outbound communication flows to build awareness and drive interest for Lasell University's undergraduate programs.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing in the Office of Marketing and Communication and will work closely with the Office of Undergraduate Admission. This position will assist with all out-bound and in­-bound marketing collateral which includes SEM, SEO, video, social, digital, radio and other collateral.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and manage outbound communication flows utilizing Slate CRM
  • Create content for multiple mediums including but not limited to: website, emails, texts, enrollment communication flow.
  • Manage digital assets and content management systems.
  • Create and maintain a digital marketing calendar.
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single source opportunities.
  • Work with assigned internal team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the program requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB:
  • Strong Project Management skills; ability to organize project timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon time­ frame.
  • Demonstrated focus on accuracy and high attention to detail.
  • Must understand online marketing (SEO, SEM, Digital ads) best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of cross functional teams.
  • Able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests as well as collaborate with others to utilize resources and knowledge in identifying effective solutions.
  • Technical knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
  • Slate, Capture, and/or Ingeniux CMS experience is a plus
