The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc. (HEAG) is looking for Financial Aid Consultants to work with our clients throughout the country. We are seeking candidates with at least 5-7 years of recent experience, director-level supervisory and leadership responsibilities in a Financial Aid Office a plus. Prior financial aid consulting experience is a strong plus, but not mandatory.

Financial Aid Consultants must be able to fill a variety of positions from day-to-day processing up to Director level for a diverse base of client schools, with direct knowledge of resolving complex compliance issues. Candidates must be competent and well versed in the compliant administration of Title IV Student Financial Aid Programs and able to manage responsibilities in a strategic, yet functional capacity.

Candidates must have strong knowledge of one of the following systems: Ellucian Banner/Colleague, PowerFAIDS, PeopleSoft, CampusVue, Jenzabar, Workday, SONIS, or other FA Student Information System experience, including Department of Education software. Candidates must also have the ability to research complex compliance issues and communicate findings and other important issues effectively to non-FA staff, including Executives. Contracted assignments can be both short and long term and may include travel, however most are online, remote positions. The Higher Education Assistance Group, Inc.
