Under the general supervision of the Payroll & Benefits
Manager, the Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for
processing payroll for approximately 350 permanent University and
Temporary Employees, 1,700 Student, and 120 Academic Staff
employees from a diverse group of departments within our division.
This position works closely with the rest of the Human Resources
team in a fast paced, high-volume work environment, and also
maintains the day-to-day operations of the Housing Payroll Office,
resolves payroll & benefits related questions, and provides
excellent customer service to employees and supervisors.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
1 or more years previous Payroll or Benefits experience
1 or more years previous experience preforming and auditing data
2 or more years previous experience providing customer service,
specifically communicating complicated messages preferred
1 or more years of professional office experience preferred
Schedule: Office hours are 7:45am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday; extra
hours as priorities and payroll schedule dictate.

This position requires some work to be performed in-person, onsite,
at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed
remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location.
