Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Minnesota Comprehensive Center for Region 10 (WMCC10) works to advance the use of evidence-based practices to improve the academic achievement of elementary and secondary school students in the two-state region. The WMCC10 team has extensive experience working with the Wisconsin Department of Instruction (DPI), Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), regional education support organizations, professional associations, and school districts to translate research into practical applications.

The Co-Director is a member of the Wisconsin-Minnesota Comprehensive Center for Region 10 leadership team and serves as the primary liaison with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for WMCC10 support activities.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Ph.D. in Education required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

* Experience providing technical support guidance to state departments of education, school districts (particularly large urban districts that have frequent interaction with their respective state education agencies), and other education-related organizations in Wisconsin and Minnesota, especially with conducting needs assessments and delivering/evaluating programming related to evidencew-based practices.
* Expert facilitation skills
* Expertise in leadership for equity
* Experience facilitating development of multi-tiered systems of support in education
