Under the general supervision of the Assistant Athletic Director for Event Operations, serve as the Events and Guest Services Manager.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Athletic Administration, or related fields is preferred.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

The most qualified applicants will bring the following:
* Minimum two (2) years professional work experience in Intercollegiate/Professional athletics preferred.
* Previous experience in athletics administration and large-scale event planning for a collegiate or professional organization is preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and clients of varying backgrounds, interests, and abilities in an atmosphere of mutual respect.
* Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Ideal candidates should demonstrate:
* Understanding of NCAA, Big Ten, and WCHA rules/regulations is preferred.
* Excellent organizational, communication, administrative, time/project management skills.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and industry specific (CAD, EMS, Social Tables) computer programs.
* Knowledge of crowd management, safety/security procedures, and disability accommodation services.

Conditions of Appointment: This is a 100% FTE Academic Staff appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An excellent benefits package is also included.
