The Administrative Assistant provides important administrative
support, while exercising discretion, in the Department of
Chemistry. Composed of approximately 550 faculty, staff, postdocs,
and graduate students, the department has a long tradition of
continued excellence in academics, research, and public
This temporary position provides high-level administrative support
for department leadership and general administrative support for
department faculty, staff, events, and activities. This position
also serves as a main point of contact for individuals and groups,
plans and coordinates meetings, conferences, and travel, and
processes related financial transactions.
