Purpose of Position
This position will develop content for fundraising proposals, development pieces, stewardship and annual giving pieces/stories and other campaign pieces. Collaborate with university stakeholders to create, edit and execute final written content. Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop written content for fundraising proposals and collateral. Write acknowledgements, impact reports, and endowment reports.
  • Interview alumni and donors for purpose of sharing stories (in written communication)
  • Act as a liaison with Marketing & Communications to submit design work and manage deadlines to ensure that materials are ready as needed.
  • Meet with stakeholders on campus to determine proposal and collateral needs.
  • Minimum level of education of a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of work related experience.
  • Must have excellent written communication and strong editing skills (English, journalism, creative writing, etc).
