Job Summary/Basic Function

This position works as part of the field services team to assure that students who are pursuing teacher certification and other professional programs have access to appropriate field experiences throughout their course of study. Work independently to solve problems, develop procedures, and adhere to varied requirements of multiple accredited programs. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local K-12 school district staff, university administrators, faculty, staff, students. May supervise a small clerical staff.

Salary is $30,600.00 plus comprehensive benefits including tuition waiver for self and dependents.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and three years of advanced clerical or para-professional experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.

Demonstrated experience with database management and Microsoft Office.

Ability to handle multiple, complex tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.

Ability to function in a high-energy, fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Good organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

Independent judgement, personal responsibility, and anticipatory thinking.

Comfort with dynamic, fast-paced work environments; a sense of urgency and attention to deadlines and details.
