The Vascular and Integrative Physiology ( VIP ) Laboratory, housed in the Department of Kinesiology and Health Science, is seeking a research assistant to work on the recruitment and implementation of clinical trials with different populations under the supervision of Dr. Rodriguez Miguelez. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Recruiting study participants
- Preparing and coordinating study visits
- Complete experimental visits
- Data collection, management, and analysis
- Preparation of research abstracts, manuscripts, and reports.
- Assisting with study-related documentation
-Must possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
-Must have excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills
-Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
-Must be able to work as part of a team and prioritize work requirements and multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Must be BLS / CPR certified Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a clinical research setting preferred
- Previous experience using peripheral vascular technology preferred
- Previous experience in sample/blood processing preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in health or biology related disciplines
