Position Primary Purpose and General Responsibilities
The Creative Video Content Manager is responsible for telling the story of VCU Athletics through shooting, editing, and creating videos for VCU Athletics. Videos are, but not limited to, intro and hype videos, highlights, features, season previews/recaps, video board content and other marketing materials as needed to enhance the VCU Athletics brand. The Creative Video Content Manager works to further VCU Athletics’ mission to win conference and national championships, provide a first-class student-athlete experience, serve as a source of pride for the University and community, and cultivate graduates who excel as leaders. Minimum Hiring Standards
Minimum hiring standards include:
- Bachelor’s degree or the combination of experience and skills equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in video streaming and live production; and
- Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU . Preferred Hiring Standards
Preferred hiring standards include:
- An advanced degree or training and work experience that equates to an advanced degree. Required Licenses/ Certifications Anticipated Hiring Range $35,000 - $37,000 Application Process/Additional Information
