Student Conduct Coordinator

Pay Range: $46,169 per year or higher depending on education and experience

Position Summary:
The Student Conduct Coordinator (SCC) is responsible for the daily administration and coordination of the student conduct process within Housing and Residence Life. The SCC supports housing response to student issues, concerns, and emergencies; make recommendations on policies and procedures in handling housing student concerns; additionally, provides support to the Assistant Director of Leadership Development and Community Standards & The Dean of Students Office by adjudicating and investigating Housing policy and Student Code of Conduct matters. Works cooperatively with other University departments to create educational programs; provide preventative outreach to residential students; and develop additional learning opportunities for students who are found responsible for University or Housing policy violations. This position reports to the Assistant Director for Leadership Development and Community Standards. This is a full-time, 12-month position in the Department of Housing and Residence Life.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, Social Work, Criminal Justine, or related field. • Leadership experience;
• Two years of experience working directly with college student advising, student behavior management, case management or similar process.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous residence life experience;
• Demonstrated organizational, and decision-making abilities;
• Demonstrated ability to create and promote an inclusive community;
• Demonstrated ability to foster student success;
• Skills in crisis management;
• Experience working with college-aged students;
• Effective communications skills;
• Experience managing a variety of projects simultaneously;
- Knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, and FERPA.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Work evenings and weekends as needed.
