Assistant Professor of Organizational Behavior

The University of New Hampshire is an R1 Carnegie classification research institution providing comprehensive, high-quality undergraduate and graduate programs of distinction. UNH is located in Durham on a 188-acre campus, 60 miles north of Boston and 8 miles from the Atlantic coast, and is convenient to New Hampshire’s lakes and mountains. Summary of Position                 

Competitive candidates will have a track record of publishing in Organizational Behavior topics, broadly defined, in top-tier journals, or will demonstrate the ability to do so in the near future. We also seek a colleague with the ability to successfully teach Organizational Behavior across our undergraduate and graduate programs, in the experiential classroom and/or online learning environments, and with an interest in teaching-related courses such as Leadership or Human Resources, including People Analytics.

Members of the department are committed to producing highly impactful research and have recently published in outlets such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Personnel Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Organizational Behavior.

The Peter T. Paul College is an AACSB accredited business school in the state of New Hampshire with world-class academic programs in business administration, economics, and hospitality management. We have approximately 2,600 students in our undergraduate majors, several hundred undergraduate minors, and 400 students in graduate programs, including MBA (full-time, part-time, and online), MS Accounting, MS Finance, MS Business Analytics, and MA and Ph.D. in Economics. Acceptable Minimum Qualifications         

Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Organizational Behavior or a closely related field (e.g., Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Human Resources) by the appointment date as well as a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and contributing to the academic mission of a research university.
