Develop and maintain a working relationship with building occupants including building coordinators, deans, coaches, staff & students. Responsible for the daily inspection and monitoring of University active project sites, building systems, façade, custodial conditions and grounds conditions.

Assist CPDC in large construction projects. Work with CPDC staff and provide timely periodic reports to ensure projects are progressing as planned and align with the project schedule and document any concerns or uncertainties.

Work with grounds, custodial and trades supervisors as well as union staff to resolve operational issues, plan maintenance, improve services and enhance the appearance of our facilities. Assist in coordinating maintenance work etc., with building occupants and building users. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of process improvement management experience or equivalent education is required.
Experience with Higher Education landscapes, facilities and seasonal planning is preferred
Familiarity with project management, planning and building systems is preferred. Job Specific Qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must demonstrate string oral and written communication skills.
Advanced technical and computer skills are preferred. Responsibilities

Be available 24/7 for emergency calls and events as needed.

Work with union staff and supervisors to resolve operational issues, plan maintenance, improve services and enhance the appearance of our facilities. Assist in coordinating maintenance work etc., with building occupants and building users.

Participate in CPDC capital and maintenance project meetings and assist with project development, scheduling, coordination, and oversight to ensure there is minimal disruption to occupants, services and longevity of systems.

Monitor and enforce the compliance with regulatory and University standards.

Oversee and monitor processes, employee skill sets and equipment resources to continually develop and implement safer and more efficient methods for employees’ training and goals.

Take direction from the Vice President and Chief Facilities Officer for special projects and assignments as delegated.

Produce a welcoming, positive, clean campus environment for potential students and visitors and maintain productive learning spaces for current students. Physical Requirements Tools/Equipment Application Instructions
