Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet members and guests in a cheerful and welcoming manner to create and maintain an atmosphere that cultivates long-term participation
Troubleshoot facility access issues by verifying member access and appropriate membership status
Provide access to members wishing to utilize the 3-time Forgot ID access; document in Fusion software
Sell memberships, guest and locker and towel services to members using Fusion point of sale and credit card terminals
Clean lobby, staircase, and mezzanine level lobby areas and furnishings with provided cleaning supplies
Direct member traffic in turnstile area, educating members on correct card swipe and turnstile use
Receive and document lost and found items, return and document claimed items to owners, and process items for short and long term storage
Assist with locker cleanout on a semester basis, including cleaning, processing contents, resetting combinations, and reporting maintenance issues
Direct position rotation of shift personnel: ensure facility and wellness attendants understand shift rotation responsibilities
Organize transaction receipts in preparation of nightly credit card batch settlement
Conduct on the job and/or lecture style training for Facility Attendants
Document staff performance, both positive and negative, via written forms to provide feedback to employees; forward to professional staff
Complete a detailed Supervisor Shift Report to communicate shift rotation task completion, staffing, facility issues, and shift evaluation
Acts an ambassador for AUM Wellness both at work and away
Use Membership Bulletin platform to stay informed of all facility closures, amended hours, program updates, staffing changes, and special visitors and tours, disseminating all information to staff and incoming members and guests as needed regarding facility or program changes
Know all memberships offered and eligibility for each type: Students, Faculty/Staff, Alumni, Friend of AUM, Dependents and Associates

Demonstrated leadership skills
Strong problem solving skills

Minimum Qualifications:
