Duties & Responsibilities
Perform duties in all areas of the program at the direction of the
Athletic Director or sport supervisor.
Successfully plan, develop and administer all phases of the women’s
cross country/track and field program.
Properly administer the budget, including preparation and its
management in a fiscally sound manner.
Schedule team travel; coordinate travel arrangements.
Recruit and select athletes and grant-in-aid recipients.
Support the promotion and marketing of the program, including
public speaking, camps, clinics, special projects, and engaging
Work with the athletic communications department and the media in
increasing visibility of the program.
Select, supervise and evaluate assistant coach(s).
Direct and coordinate along with Student Athlete Support Services
the successful progress of the student athletes.
Show commitment to and responsibility for, adherence to all rules
and regulations of Ball State University, the Mid-American
Conference and the NCAA ; pass the NCAA certification examination
on an annual basis.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
