This role is the first point of contact internally and externally and has daily contact with students. The Administrative Assistant plays a crucial part in delivering great service to our students and supporting successful degree completion.

Responsibilities:
- Provide and lead reception services via phone, email, and snail mail, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for virtual and in-person visitors.
- Manage calendars for department leaders including coordinating events, meetings, calls and travel, effectively and accurately juggling many details.
- Interact with all levels of management, staff, faculty, students and external constituents with diplomacy, professionalism and confidentially.
- Accurately organize and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities with coinciding deadlines, adapting to changing priorities.
- Manage multiple departmental accounts with active purchasing activities by reconciling accounts monthly, maintaining running balances, and preparing financial reports.
- Coordinate department related events in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide technical support online for video conference meetings, phone conferences, and interviews.
- Support the administrative business functions of the department by maintaining the website and databases, producing newsletters, and creating various forms of correspondence.
- Identify and resolve issues and improve process efficiencies.

- Experience organizing many tasks and projects with conflicting priorities

- Intermediate-level experience using both the Google and Microsoft office suites and photo editing, design, database entry, and social media account management
- Web site editing experience
- Experience creating and managing data repositories
- Advanced experience with Excel
