The Photography program in the Department of Art & Design at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking a full- time, tenure track Assistant Professor in Photography and Video. The qualified individual will hold an appropriate terminal graduate degree, have some college/university teaching experience, a growing creative practice, professional record in their field and a wide range of skills in photography and video techniques, and be well versed in current issues, discourses, and the history of photography, video and/or lens-based media more generally. Published writing as well as client-oriented photography/videography would also be a plus.

The Photography program is part of the Department of Art & Design which has well-equipped analog and digital labs, smart classrooms, lighting studio, student galleries, and is the editorial home of Dotphotozine, a student-run publication of photography. The department is housed in the Visual Arts Center on campus with glass, ceramic, woodworking, metalworking, printmaking, painting, design, and digital fabrication studios.
