Grove City College announces a regular full-time faculty opening in the Department of Computer Science. The department currently has six full-time faculty, offering three degrees to our vibrant undergraduate community: an ABET-accredited B.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. in Computer Science, and a B.S. in Data Science.
A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field is preferred, but we will consider candidates who are nearing completion of their doctorate or those who have an M.S. in Computer Science with substantial industry experience and exceptional communication skills. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of lower-level and upper-level undergraduate computer science courses, guiding undergraduate student research projects, and developing innovative pedagogy and curriculum.
Preference will be given to those who have a strong record of training or classroom teaching and scholarship within their field. Candidates must have a commitment to instructing and advising highly motivated students. Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications. Faculty members are expected to teach a 4/4 load.
Please send a current curriculum vitae, names and contact information of four references (three professional and one pastoral), and a letter of interest that includes an explanation of how your Christian faith represents a strong fit with Grove City College’s unique mission as a Christian college see: (http://www.gcc.edu/Home/Our-Story/Faith-Freedom/Vision-Mission-Values) to: Mrs. Jamie N.
