Under the direct supervision of the Director of Men's and Women's
Track & Field and Cross Country, assist with the
responsibilities of both Division I Cross Country programs in
accordance with NCAA, Big Ten, and University regulations. Areas of
responsibility may include: coaching of men and women distance and
mid-distance student-athletes, serving as recruiting coordinator
for distance and mid-distance student-athletes and other duties as
assigned by the Director of Track & Field and Cross

Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of successful coaching experience is
required, preferably at the Division I collegiate level. Ideal
candidates should demonstrate the following: proven record in
recruitment of prospective student-athletes, the ability to foster
team competitive success while maintaining a strong emphasis on the
personal development and academic achievement of student-athletes;
excellent communication skills to work with student-athletes, other
coaches, and administrators; knowledge of and experience with NCAA
and Big Ten rules.

Conditions of Appointment: This is a 100% FTE Limited Staff
appointment. Salary will be assigned within the appropriate range,
commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. An
