Job Summary

Teach a maximum of 200 contact hours/semester of lab, clinical and/or simulation instruction for practical nursing students which may include Medical-Surgical Nursing, Maternal-Child Nursing, and/or Long-Term Care Nursing. May teach day and/or evening students to meet program needs. The ideal candidate is one who:
- Has demonstrated strong nursing clinical and assessment skills
- Is comfortable with technology
- Works well in collaboration with others
- Is committed to the mission of a community college
- Is familiar with the scope of practice of an LPN

Required Qualifications

Bachelor of Nursing
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas or Multi State Licensure or have the qualifications to obtain licensure in Kansas as a Registered Nurse.
Strong background in medical/surgical nursing required
