About the Opportunity:
The Information Systems and Technology Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the support of a wide variety of hardware and software IT resources that are used by the personnel in the Campus Planning & Development and Facilities Divisions. The Senior Business Systems Analyst will evaluate business processes, document and anticipate informations systems requirements and uncover areas that require improvement and participate in developing and implementing solutions and assist in the introduction of new information technologies. In addition, the position requires the ability to conduct meetings, develop presentations to share information and findings, and create information systems configuration documentation.

Responsibilities:
Proven project management skills are essential, as is the ability to prepare RFP's and RFI's and work with vendors, consultants and solutions experts when required. The Senior Business Systems Analyst must have the ability to be a technical troubleshooter of IT problems/issues, as reported by Division users, while providing users technical advice, guidance and training, be proficient with SQL, and familiar with reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI and proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams), The Senior Business Systems analyst will be expected to participate in testing new hardware and software prior to deployment, to insure compatibility with the current suite of applications. The position requires strong communication skills both verbally and written and the ability to be detail oriented and well organized to ensure timely completion of projects. The position reports to the Associate Director of Infrastructure and applications within the unit of the Facilities Division.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of related experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area is required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills are required. Extensive experience in supporting Windows, Mac, connectivity and mobile devices is desired. Candidate should have 2+ years of demonstrated experience developing databases and/or web-based applications using technologies such as, ASP.NET, Java Script, SQL, MS Access, and HTML. Must be adept and passionate about learning new technologies and services. Must be passionate about supporting customers. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required. Strong customer service skills are also very important in this position.
