About the Opportunity:
Responsible for leading the coordination of research activities on a 4-year NIH clinical trial to promote COVID-19 vaccination, led by the Relational Agents Group in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for identifying, training and overseeing site liaisons at 12 ethnically diverse churches in the greater Boston area that are the primary recruitment sites for the trial. Reports to the principal investigators and works in collaboration with the investigators and the leadership of the Black Ministerial Alliance and its member churches.

Responsible for primary oversight of research activities and assists the project investigators with project management, coordination, and regulatory compliance across internal and external sites while adhering to all regulations regarding studies that involve human subjects' research and clinical trials. Lead subject recruitment and subject database development and management. Provide logistical and administrative support to include data collection, tracking and reconciling of study visits and budgets, advanced knowledge of study protocols and guidelines, and implements procedures as specified. Develops and oversees the implementation of best practice guidelines for conducting the clinical trial. Performs recruitment and data collection as needed.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in health-related or scientific field and 1 to 2 years of human subjects research-related work experience. Leadership and project management skills. Ability to independently manage workflow and priorities across multiple tasks, people, and responsibilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, ability to work as a team member, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and strong attention to detail. Prefer candidates with database and Qualtrics experience, and candidates who have experience working within church organizations.


Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
