  Position Summary
  The Video Systems Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the production control room technology. We are looking for someone that will take a hands-on approach in collaborating directly with the production and editorial staff while serving as the EIC “Engineer in Charge”. You will be the first line of support for any technical issues during events while working effectively to ensure a smooth production.
  
  This position is responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the university, Pac-12 Conference and the NCAA.
  
  Additional expectations of position:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders and work on elevated surfaces, pull and install wiring, use hand and power tools, work on small components, and perform other physical tasks.
  
  Minimum Requirements
  A basic foundation of knowledge in operating systems programs, maintenance, systems administration, and network systems that would normally be obtained through a bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering mathematics, telecommunications or a related field, or equivalent technical training and/or experience.
  
  Professional Competencies
  Basic knowledge of electrical systems, lighting, UPS, and basic construction techniques.
  
  Knowledge/ability to apply terminations/connectors to various types of network cables such as coaxial, twisted pair, and optical fiber cables that carry SDI video, AES and analog audio, RF, Fiber, IP signals.
  
  Understanding of file-based multimedia technologies and video edit systems.
  
  Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical end users.
  
  Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate the status of problems, provide updates to progress on projects, and offer solutions to technical issues.
  
  Familiarity with the following broadcast standards:
  SMPTE 2110, AES67, MXF, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, RS-422, RS-232, Fiber.
  
  Professional network and broadcast certifications.
  
  Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite.
  
  Demonstrated ability to professionally operate video switchers, audio consoles, replay, and graphics machines.
  
  Knowledge of Video Switchers, Replay Systems, Broadcast routing, Graphic and Video playout systems.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
  Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Broadcast or Computer Science or three years' experience in broadcast television or athletic venue video production.
  
  Documentation skills including creating and maintaining library of technical drawings and the ability to create and follow SOPs.
  
  Experience within collegiate athletics.
  
  Working experience within professional or collegiate arenas or stadiums.
  
  CCENT, Network+ or higher. SBE certifications
