Property Security Officer /Part-time for Law School

Primary Purpose of Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to monitor halls and office during the working hours; providing customer service; providing information and assistance for visitors and stranded motorists; providing first-aid and transportation for injured and sick person; testifying in court; traffic and criminal prosecution and testifies at university hearing or student court; patrolling parking lots and university campus or state institutions to detect fires; prowlers, vandals or other unusual conditions; identifies and deters crime, violations or potential hazards during assigned shifts hours.
Minimum Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency and demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Some positions may require a valid NC Driver’S License.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The successful candidate must possess the ability to deal courteously but firmly with the general public; ability to act quickly and intelligently in emergency situations; ability to work independently with little or no supervision; to take initiative to see projects and assignments through to completion; to learn, interpret and analyze information to make necessary decisions; to exercise judgment and discretion in problem-solving; ability to work flexible schedules; excellent analytical and organizational skills along with written and oral communication skills.
