Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Intramural Sports Coordinator in the Athletics department.

The candidate would be expected to: coordinate and supervise all aspects of club sports; assist in recruiting, training and supervision of undergraduate student workers who perform as officials, game supervisors, and program assistants; assist with product evaluation, purchasing and coordinate inventory control of equipment and supplies used in the programming.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree, Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence

Required Skills or Software:
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must have an understanding of the University's concern for academics as well as athletic excellence

Required Years of Experience:

Other Requirements:
Sports officiating experience in at least two different team sport activities.

Strong knowledge of several sports’ rules, including but not limited to: flag football, basketball, volleyball, soccer and softball.

Ability to work weekends and evening hours, often working in an outdoor environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in intramurals, extramurals and club sports as a participant or manager. Experience with IMleagues software.
