Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for a temporary Research Assistant in the Urban Coast Institute department.

The candidate would be expected to: conduct research and prepare white papers related to marine and environmental issues in support of the UCI Director and Associate Director. The primary focus will be on the analysis of the proposed NJ Climate Change Resilience Strategy and Coastal Resilience Plan and relevant regulations and issues related to sea-level rise, offshore wind development, and beach access. In addition, support the UCI Associate Director in coordinating meetings and activities of the NJ Coastal Resilience Collaborative. Participate in meetings and calls as requested, take notes and summarize discussions.

Required Degree, License or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree, Valid Automobile Driver's License in your state of principal residence

Required Skills or Software:
Basic Knowledge of MS Word 2013, Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Biology or a related field.
