Job Description:

The Department of Chemistry at the Worcester State University invites applications for a full time-temporary position (standard teaching load = 12 credits a semester; 3-4 courses a semester). The successful candidates will be expected to begin work in September 2021 and assist in teaching a range of classes including Organic Chemistry lecture and lab and/or general chemistry for majors and non-majors. Experience teaching analytical chemistry a plus.


Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Applicants must have earned a PhD degree in chemistry, or closely related discipline awarded by September 1, 2021

Additional Considerations:

  • College-level teaching experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to speak and write English clearly
  • Ability to work effectively with students, faculty and diverse populations
