Position Summary:

The School Mental Health Collaborative (SMHC) is a research center at the University of Wisconsin- Madison, School of Education's Wisconsin Center for Education Research. SMHC is focused on conducting research to inform policy and practice related to promoting the social-emotional and behavioral success of K-12 students. Our research projects are designed to promote the mental health of children and adolescents across a range of funding sources, including federal grants and foundation funding.

The Research Project Manager plans and leads operational, outreach, financial, and promotional activities of the School Mental Health Collaborative. The percent range is dependent on grant awards.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field is required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

* 2 years of experience in participant recruitment for a research program
* Knowledge of state and federal regulations
* Prior experience with pre and post-award management, student supervision, budget management, and event management.
