Position Summary:

This position will assist with leading the daily operations of the Student Activity Center which includes custodial services, event and reservation services, space use, and tenant office management as well as the maintenance and general upkeep of the facility. This position reports directly to the Floor Manager of the Student Activity Center (SAC). This position is temporary, but is expected to work full time hours. The employee schedule will cover shifts at the SAC in person at 333 E Campus Mall on the 3rd/4th floors. The SAC is open 92 hours each week including nights and weekends. Work hours will regularly include evenings and weekends.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required at the start of the position.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year of supervisor experience (professional or collegiate)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service experience, preferably in college student services
- Experience with room scheduling, preferably Event Management System (EMS)
- Ability to train, lead and provide direction to part-time student staff
- Ability to interpret and enforce campus and Student Activity Center policies and procedures in a fair and equitable manner

The hourly rate for this position will be $16.05/hour, however, all hours worked on Saturday and Sunday will receive an $0.80/hour shift differential for working on the weekend. This position will also receive the same shift differential for hours worked between 6pm and 6am on any day of the week.

Work Schedule:

This position requires work be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location.
