Job Summary
The Employment Services Manager organizes and executes recruiting and placement strategies while working with hiring managers to ensure a strong pool of qualified candidates to fill open positions, and make certain the best candidates are hired. Areas of responsibility include employment opportunity compliance and administration, recruitment and selection. This position coordinates both the internal and external recruitment and placement processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources management.
Functional experience working with an integrated HRIS system, such as Banner, PageUp or similar system
Knowledge of: principles and practices of personnel management; applicable rules rules and regulations relating to personnel management for a public institution; principles of supervision and work planning; and human resources information systems.
Ability to: plan, organize, and supervise the work of human resources staff; effectively interpret and apply complex laws, contract language, rules, regulations and policies, and develop working solutions; prepare and present comprehensive, concise, clear oral and written reports; establish and maintain a cooperative, productive, and effective working relationship with staff.
