Job Summary

Adjunct faculty members serve multiple roles as teachers, mentors, colleagues, and scholars. Adjunct faculty are expected to excel in classroom instruction and to fulfill various responsibilities related to their assigned teaching duties.

The Neurodiagnostic Technology Program Adjunct Professor duties include:
• Teaching NDT sub-specialties in the classroom
• Leading NDT labs where the International 10-20 system is implemented
• Facilitating student troubleshooting of equipment relating to Neurodiagnostic technology
• Assisting students with placement of electrodes using various application methods
• Instructing students in proper communication and safety at the bedside
• Assisting with simulation scenarios

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field
R. EEG T. credential
Current BLS certification
Skills in interpersonal relationships, verbal, and written communication
Knowledge of computer technology as it applies to the fields of Neurodiagnostic Technology and education
Demonstrated ability to express sensitivity and empathy while working with diverse students, staff, and community population
Two years experience as a credentialed EEG technologist OR as an R. EEG T

Preferred Qualifications

Credentialing in multiple NDT modalities
Work experience in multiple NDT modalities
Four years of clinical experience as a credentialed Neurodiagnostic Technologist
Previous teaching experience
