Job Description:
The Fairfield College Preparatory School and Fairfield University invites applications for a part-time faculty member to teach one section of Introduction to Film and Video Production to Fairfield Prep’s high school students in the fall of 2021. The course will meet weekday mornings from roughly 9:30 to 10:30 am, with some flexibility of exact days required due to anticipated support from upper-level media students from the University. The course is expected to cover the fundamental concepts of video/audio design and editing, as well as the basic hardware and software that is used to create effective video productions.
Applicants are expected to have an MA or MS in a related field, and/or significant experience in professional video production. The course will be taught using iMac computers and the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite.
