Statement of Job:
The School of Music at the University of Southern Maine seeks an Artist Faculty member in Classical Trumpet. The successful candidate will teach applied trumpet lessons, preside over juries, and assist in maintaining and expanding an outstanding brass program. Additional opportunities coaching chamber music, teaching trumpet literature, pedagogy, or leading studio classes are available. This position will coordinate with the Director of Bands and Director of the School of Music. Performing opportunities through the faculty concert series and other collaborations are available for additional compensation.
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Music; Outstanding qualifications as a performer and teacher.
