    Department Summary

    Position Summary
    The Director of Ticket Sales, Matthew Knight Arena (MKA) is the primary liaison with arena staff and ticket promoters to ticket all concerts and special events at MKA. This position is responsible for day to day operations for outside special events held in UO athletic department facilities and the Matthew Knight Arena ticket office. The Director will supervise, train, and hire full-time interns and will assist and provide customer service for internal and external patrons. This position will strategize with Athletic Ticket Office directors on day to day office activities and oversee the allocation of season tickets for Men's Basketball.

    Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Two years of ticket office experience
  • One year of supervisory experience of full-time or student employees

    Professional Competencies
  • Expertise with Ticketmaster Archtics and Host ticketing software
  • Current knowledge of NCAA rules
  • Excellent organizational, customer service, and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, marketing or related field
  • Experience building and scaling events for sale on Ticketmaster.com
  • One year of ticket office experience with a Division I athletic department
  • Donor-based priority seating program experience
  • Photoshop or InDesign experience
