About the Opportunity:
The School of Nursing invites applications from highly-motivated candidates for a full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track faculty position as an Assistant/Associate/Full Clinical Professor. Another key responsibility of this faculty member will be to serve as the Director of Clinical Affiliations.

Responsibilities:
The School of Nursing in Bouve College of Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track faculty position (Assistant, Associate, or Clinical Professor rank). This faculty will engage in scholarship, including scholarship of teaching and learning, and professional activities that meet continuous professional development goals. This faculty will also teach at least four courses per year or more depending on all areas of responsibility as discussed with the School of Nursing Dean on a yearly basis. Another key responsibility of this faculty member will be to serve as the Director of Clinical Affiliations. Within this administrative and leadership role, this faculty will be responsible for ensuring successful day-to-day clinical operations and delivery of clinical placements/affiliations across nursing programs and will oversee the operations of the Clinical Placement Office. This faculty will work collaboratively with the Program Directors and provide oversight of the development and implementation of nursing clinical education that is responsive to program and course objectives, student needs and available clinical resources and will coordinate clinical placement efforts and outreach on behalf of the School of Nursing in alignment with Bouve College and Northeastern University. This faculty will work with the School of Nursing Dean Assistant Deans for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs to oversee the regulatory requirements and CCNE standards as well as the College and University to streamline processes, policies, and procedures. This faculty will work closely with Bouve College leadership as well as the clinical coordinators team across the college to share best practices with respect to clinical partnership contracts, compliance, risk management, staff cross-training and all other aspects of clinical affiliations and operations.

Qualifications:
Qualifications require a degree in nursing and earned doctorate in nursing or related field by the start date of the appointment; and eligibility for an unrestricted RN licensure in Massachusetts. Applicant must have proven teaching excellence in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, not limited to but including adult health nursing, pediatric nursing, psychiatric mental health nursing, nurse anesthesia, nursing administration, nursing informatics, research, foundation skills or urban health nursing; demonstrated excellence and commitment to supporting a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.
