Posting Details

Position Title Senior Administrative Coordinator Overview
Provide administrative support to the PCSB Dean’s Office deans and directors, and to the faculty and administrative leads for PCSB strategic initiatives such as the DEI Committee. Partner with the Office of Institutional Advancement to support PCSB advancement efforts (gifts and engagement) and lead some of the PCSB’s engagement groups. Essential Duties:
  1. Provide administrative support to the PCSB Dean’s Office deans and directors, and for strategic initiatives, including continuous improvement initiatives in line with accreditation standards. Support includes, but is not limited to: meeting setup and design, including review of materials and participant lists; managing faculty documentation for searches, tenure and promotion cases, and reviews; communicating on behalf of the office with internal and external stakeholders; and, scheduling/logistics for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

  2. Provide support, and in some cases, oversight for PCSB DEI programs, initiatives, and activities which support long-duration continuous efforts to bring about climate change at the PCSB . Provide implementation support for initiatives and programs, including, but not limited to: staffing the PCSB standing multi-stakeholder committee on DEI ; coordinating the PCSB -Ph.D. Project annual diversity in business school education case writing workshop; administratively managing the undergraduate Berkeley Program; providing logistical support for the annual PCSB DEI climate survey, overseeing the PCSB diverse curriculum materials library; and, managing the alumni of color mentor initiative, administratively overseeing the DID Wall/collaboration with DID Lab and the PCSB Student Advisory Council on Diversity.

  3. In partnership with Institutional Advancement, manage communications, event planning and other logistics for PCSB engagement councils including PC to Wall Street, the PCSB Business Advisory Council, the PC Friars in Real Estate, PCSB Risk Management Advisory Group, and other engagement activities. Administratively support PCSB philanthropic efforts in coordination with gift managers.

  4. Coordinate with the PCSB Marketing and Communications lead to provide regular updates on Dean’s Office activities to be communicated and marketed.
Marginal Duties:
  1. Perform all other duties as may be required.





Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required. Business or communications discipline preferred.
  • Five to seven years’ experience in a professional environment with experience in higher education, training in diversity, equity, and inclusion practices or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong writing and editorial skills
  • Ability to multitask, and to work under, and prioritize around, deadlines
  • High level of organization ability and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under a ‘zero-defect’ level of expectation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to interface with senior staff members
  • Knowledge of, and commitment to, diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in a higher education context
