We seek a recognized leader with proven leadership and management skills as well as an outstanding academic background and strong clinical credentials. The chair will provide strategic and administrative leadership of the highest quality to this distinguished department in its teaching, research and clinical missions.

Principal Duties:

The chair will participate in leadership and service activities to the School of Medicine and Public Health, UW Health, the University, the community and the profession.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

MD, MD/PhD, DO or equivalent, Emergency Medicine

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Substantial background and experience in administrative leadership, clinical care, teaching and research, including training programs for the full continuum of emergency medicine learners, and a strong academic background that would qualify for appointment as a tenured professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

License or Certificate:

Board Certified or Board Eligible; eligible for Wisconsin Medical License
