This is a 10 month position – August to June

Review of incident reports, case creation and assignment of cases as referred by DPS ; liaison role to DPS Commander when charges or report information is missing or is incorrect. Coordinate various educational workshops (sanctions). Manage conflict resolution program including serving as a conflict coach to students who are having difficulty navigating conflict. Develop conflict assessment assignments and schedule follow up meetings with students.

Manage student walk-in; meet with students to explain the conduct process prior to case manager meetings as needed. Coordinate decision-making workshops including volunteer recruitment and training, content development of workshops and student scheduling and assessment. Coordinate scheduling of other sanction workshops including Options, Civility Workshop and Strengths Character Development workshop. Represent department at campus events including Parents Information Tent, Family Weekend, and Admitted Students Days. Qualifications
Associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred with 1 or more years of full-time experience or 2 years if part-time graduate.

Experience in working with students. Job Specific Qualifications
Use of Maxient Conduct Software; Ability to maintain privacy; critical thinking and problem solving.

Experience/training in conflict resolution. Responsibilities

Manage conflict resolution program and decision making workshops including volunteer recruitment and training, student scheduling and assessment; serve as intake coordinator for conflict resolution cases; serve as liaison to students to explain conflict resolution process; develop publicity plan to inform students and University community members of the conflict resolution program; Coordinate scheduling for Options workshop program.

Develop and maintain records in accordance with Federal law and University policies.

Student contact: Meet with students to explain conduct process, FERPA, review of files (conduct consultation); attend resource fairs and participate in student center tabling efforts as departmental representative.
