The Public Safety Department takes a proactive approach to campus safety, and has officers on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.Public Safety Supervisorsareresponsible for the supervision of the department’s work force, and coordination of the day-to-day operations of their assigned shift. The position works to ensure the safety, security, and protection of students, employees, and visitors of St. Catherine University and the facilities and property within its campus.

Responsibilities:
- Supervision of Public Safety Officers.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, proper notifications are made, and accurate documentation is prepared.
- Plan and schedule Public Safety Officers shifts staff, ensuring safety details are assigned and completed as assigned.
- Maintain uniform inventory, equipment, found and confiscated property, security office organization, training documentation, and office files.
- Participate with campus investigations as requested.
- Monitor campus security camera system.
- Provide crime prevention information and education to the campus community.
- Plan and coordination of campus events or requests.
- Rotate on-call duty with fellow Public Safety Supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree
- Current and valid driver’s license with approved driving record
- Three years of public safety experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two years of leadership experience and increasing levels of responsibility
- Experience working or volunteering in community engagement
- Certified in First Aid,CPRandAED
