Position Special Events Senior Technician Full Time/Part Time Part Time Job Type On-Call Position Summary
Special Events Senior Technician is responsible for all technical aspects for all events in Ilfeld Auditorium and Arts @ HU. This is an on-call position. Hours will vary. Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to the following: set-up and tear-down of all events scheduled in Ilfeld Auditorium. Responsible for crew working on the following: lighting/sound/stage managing/assistant stage managing/back stage tech and movie projection. Minimum Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications
Must have at the minimum of 5 years working in a theater environment.
Must have knowledge of lighting and audio equipment.

Special Conditions for Eligibility
Must be available for all events which include weekends, evenings, as well as daytime events. Must have a calm demeanor and tactful when need be. Must have knowledge of the theater and technical aspect of lighting and sound. Must have leadership skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must have knowledge and experience for a minimum of 1 year in theater sound and lighting. Must be responsible. Must be able to operate ETC lighting board and various sound systems. Must have knowledge of sound and audio equipment. Physical Demands
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Working Environment
