Howe Center for Writing Excellence: Communications Coordinator will update and write copy for print materials such as brochures and posters; create social media campaigns; and write weekly e-newsletters; write alumni newsletters. The coordinator will also serve as a liaison with university communications and career services. Work with a graphic designer to design on brand materials for the Howe Center for Writing Excellence. Write copy for e-newsletters, website, social media, and print documents. Update website regularly in cooperation with University Communications and Marketing. Create and execute social media campaigns.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in English or closely related field; three years of experience in a communications role; excellent writing and editing skills; ability to update website; ability to use social media effectively; experience working within brand guidelines.

Consideration may be given to candidates with a master’s degree in English or related field; experience working in a writing center and/or writing across the curriculum program (graduate or undergraduate student experience will be counted); experience working across teams with graphic designers and other communications professionals.
