Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (RowanSOM) is currently seeking a talented Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Department of Psychiatry located in Southern New Jersey.

This position is for a full-time academic faculty position in adult or child and adolescent psychiatry with a focus on graduate and medical student mental health. The successful candidate will have experience in adult inpatient and outpatient care. Responsibilities include working with medical students, faculty committees, teaching residents, and working as a part of an interdisciplinary team.

Our Department of Psychiatry is a patient centered behavioral health department with a warm and collegial atmosphere.

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree, be able to obtain or currently have a valid NJ Medical license, CDS and DEA and be AOBNP/ABPN Board Certified/Board Eligible.

Our clinical campus is located in Southern New Jersey, which is within the Philadelphia metropolitan area approximately eight miles from Center City Philadelphia, one hour from the Jersey Shore, and an hour and a half from NYC, and two hours from Washington, DC.
