A postdoctoral position, funded by the Hasumi International Research Foundation, is open in the laboratory of Dr. Dean Mann in the Department of Pathology, University of Maryland School of Medicine. The successful candidate will study Immunologic responses to tumor associated antigens in patients receiving immunotherapy. The study involves application and development of a variety of immune based assays to identify and characterize neo- antigens produced by human tumors in the process of malignant transformation . Applicants should possess a Ph.D. and/or Medical degree with a strong background in Immunology and immunogenics. The ideal candidate should have relevant technical expertise and strong communication and writing skills. Previous manuscript writing and publication is highly desired.
